Today was the start of our 3rd week of the Lean Hybrid Muscle Reloaded Program.  Today we got back to the body building style of workouts.  It was a full upper body session, lots of sets, and heavy weights.

  • High Protein, Low Fat, Low Carbs – Definitely a hard day to stick to the diet but only one more day of this diet tomorrow then the rest of the week is more enjoyable!

Lean Hybrid Muscle Phase 1 – Day 4

Fourth day under my belt! Yesterday (Day 3) was a well deserved rest day. Today was the most challenging and exciting day me and Levi faced of the program so far.  Tough, tough, tough training session tonight but I know it’ll pay off in the end.  This was a completely different training style then the previous two days, but I love how this program keeps you on your toes.  The style of training today consisted of a giant circuit of back to back moves including kettlebell swings,  pull ups, and squat presses.  We didn’t worry about the amount of weight we were moving, more about proper form and explosiveness.  The moves involved were mostly powerful and explosive which really kept the heart rate up.  Overall GREAT session!

  • Lean Hybrid Muscle Phase 1, Day 4 – Definitely a hybrid style training day.  Explosive movements mixed with heart pounding, non-stop, hard work.  Not to mention the 100 yd sprints after each circuit!

There’s Something About Hard Work…

If your like me, sometimes it seems like always putting forth your best effort is hard to come by.  I’ll be the first to admit, sometimes I don’t feel like making the most of my days and that’s when I tend to reach for a little motivation.  To me, seeing someone that truly WORKS HARD and is PASSIONATE about everything from their job to training time in the gym is a huge source of motivation to me.

Tim Tebow

Tim Tebow is a HUGE inspiration to me.  You don’t have to like the guy on the field and as a player but he demands a high level of respect off the field.  From his work habits to his passion in everything he does, Tebow speaks volumes about the person I want to become.  HARD WORKING in every since of the term.  He’s not the best, but he trains to be the best.   He’s not liked by everyone, but that doesn’t stop him from pursuing his goals.

When I step in the gym I’m far from the strongest, leanest, most ripped guy…but I PROMISE there is no one working harder than me.

Lean Hybrid Muscle Reloaded – Pre Review

I’m absolutely stoked to hit the weights today! I recently purchased Mike and Elliott’s Lean Hybrid Muscle Reloaded system and I’ve been reading and catching up on all their research. It seems like in the past I’ve wasted my time trying to be like the model’s in the bodybuilding magazines, most of which are jacked up on stimulates. I was tired of all the same movements in the gym and rarely breaking a sweat. With LHM Reloaded I’m going to get the best of bodybuilding, power lifting, and overall athletic type workouts. Before starting their workouts, I decided to try to get the diet under my belt this week and I’m going to start their workouts next week.
